About our workshops
Everyone can sing!
Everyone can sing! At different levels, of course. All you need is a willingness to work with this issue and yes, courage!
In general, these workshops are for those who are not afraid to dive deeply, to follow the unknown (sometimes frightening), who are willing to be vulnerable, for those who want to hear their voice, who want to be heard by others, who want to look inside and see themselves, real, as they are. Behind our fear of singing is hidden a much deeper fear of manifesting, speaking, sounding, giving ourselves a voice. In our workshop, we will touch those areas.

The Credo
We believe that all personal stories include both a "personal-private" layer and a "universal" layer, which we call the "beyond". A good example of the "beyond" layer would be in Shakespeare's works, which dealt with many human themes: Love, jealousy, anger, betrayal, etc. Shakespeare's poetic and inspirational work has created an artistic platform for processing various human stories. These human themes have become "high culture".
We think music/singing can help access each story in a different way, allowing the Playback team to touch the “beyond”
Everyone can sing!
All you need is a willingness to work with this issue and courage!

Thank you for such a fantastic experience, for such a clearly organized group process.
"It has already been under two months after the training of Marat in Vinnytsia. Also, I want to thank you, my friend, for the miracle that you helped to find in myself. Sound, singing, sound. It turns out I have it pretty well. Our theater Playback Theater "Beyond Time" held an event on the theme: "Experiments" and we sang, tried new forms, sounds, and voice effects. Thank you for such a fantastic experience, for such a clearly organized group process. Strict and interesting. I have never met a master so sensitive and strong at the same time. I embrace and thank you for touching your creativity. Be happy!"

The atmosphere of trust and warmth, despite the cold in the hall, Marat skillfully managed the mood and energy of the group. At the end of the third day, almost everyone was already close friends
Review of the" Sing "seminar on May 4-6 in Khabarovsk. I was driving to Khabarovsk, not knowing anything about Marat and the upcoming seminar. I just planned a little vacation from the usual things. And the vacation was a success, with full immersion: it turned out that Marat was a real wizard and for three days he worked wonders for us. Just list what I remember the seminar:
-The atmosphere of trust and warmth, despite the cold in the hall, Marat skillfully managed the mood and energy of the group. At the end of the third day, almost everyone was already close friends.
-An interesting and very understandable explanation of incendiary musical forms. I opened up entirely new opportunities to surprise and delight the audience.
-The smooth running of participants into music and singing — through exercises from simple to complex, through group support — is a very inspiring experience.
- Classroom exercises and not only in the field of music but also on interaction, trust, emancipation, and creativity.
-Sensitive and attentive conduct, during the storytelling, Marat accurately emphasized accents, and during their game gave instructions that greatly enriched this game, as well as tips for musicians.
-The stories told themselves, and how they were played, I still remember many choruses from "Bonfires" and "Blues".
-Music! The music was great, Marat is a talented musician, and the
way he played "his own theme" for each participant is the real magic!
-Ability to play with the actors of other theaters. The final "Bonfire" in which I participated, I was simply struck by the accuracy of the action, the depth of stay, and the interaction of the actors. Being in it from the inside is another miracle.
"Three happy days" is an accurate description of the seminar, in which a lot of things fit in - games and revelations, laughter, and tears, fear, and support. "It's not so easy to meet with yourself, it's so natural to meet with yourself."
Thanks to Marat for these meetings with ourselves, with others."

Marat, you are a tuning fork for me. Very sensitive, very neat, very empathic. Workshop about self-love.
“... a meeting with myself, permission is given personally — to accept me and my voice. I already wrote - Marat, you are a tuning fork for me. Very sensitive, very neat, very empathic. Workshop about self-love.”

it was even about the connection, the general field of 'here and now', which is challenging to recreate with the help of words and even physical intimacy, but through music - it is possible.
" A few days ago there was a master class on vocal improvisation Marat Mairovich, the participants from my playback group and I were there. We sang our stories, we sang about ourselves. It is challenging to describe it with words, but what happened there was such a special thrill for me, I cannot even compare it with anything. He was very kind to me. It was about childlike carelessness and spontaneity, in which the rules change on the move, and all participants in the process join the game and influence its course. And it was about music that is more than a melody of a few notes because only through music you can convey the fullness of the moment. And it was even about the connection, the general field of 'here and now', which is challenging to recreate with the help of words and even physical intimacy, but through music - it is possible. When I was driving home, all the sounds of the world around me suddenly found a rhythm and melody, and it was magical. And as natural as if I was born in this. I even had a metaphor that if the Bible existed from playbackers, it would start like this: "At the beginning there was music ..."
"Sing. With his voice, his gut, his pain, and joy. Fly under the ceiling, spreading its wings, knowing that even if you fall, you will not really fall down - because they will pick you up and help you fly again.
Incredible Marat Mairovich, thank you so much for this journey, I went to his training for a very long time, and finally, it happened.

More than 6 hours of incessant purest solo performances with the support of a physical choir, and at the same time supporting and pushing Marat to go into your own fears
"I have such a feature. The stronger and more powerful something touches me, the longer and harder it is for me to pick up words, line them up in some logical series, convey the whole gamut of sensations, emotions, and feelings. It seems that there are so few words and they are so insignificant, impotent in such a task... The brain refuses to give out something. I urge him to give me a squeeze, facts, structure. Any exercise. To record, fix in the outline. As I usually do. If not at the seminar, then later, remembering the exercises. But he refuses to work, analyze, allocate something. Everything feels like a huge stream, uncontrollable mountain rivers in high water, a tsunami! Everything is mixed up .. And only feelings, sensations, emotions, and something else, but there are no words yet .. And this is definitely from the irrational... Such a powerful, as I never, nothing, nowhere felt like Voice ... Voice - it turns out so much, in a significant way a lot! It is more than my body, more than a room, a city, more than a planet .. And this is about the body .. And that means about the truth, the Truth. There is the word "authentic". Prior to this, the 7th module of the certification course at the New York School of Playback Theater, where we were taught to sing on stage by a fantastic person, a talented composer, and musician, playback coach Marat Mairovich, until you had to live on so many powerful transformations, go through such strong initiations, go beyond comfort zone ... Although all modules of the program is a deep dive, which launches powerful processes inside. Each in its own way and different.
So, go out and sing one song. Improvisation of pure water. From the image that others gave you how they see you and then get to their essence ... Maybe it's scary, painful, embarrassing to watch, but there you're real .. And that's beautiful!
* As Andrei Utenkov, our playback teacher, noted: "in general, there is a personal level. And discovering it is the talent of the actor."
And all this in front of more than 30 pairs of eyes and ears. Under the magnificent music performed by Marat, from rock to opera, which is also a complete improvisation based on my image and its transformation...
It is such a powerful force to overcome. Where there is the biggest plug, there is the biggest resource! And it is so important now in my life!
More than 6 hours of incessant purest solo performances with the support of a physical choir, and at the same time supporting and pushing Marat to go into your own fears (originally the word "frustrating", but I changed my mind, I'm a woman, after all!).
Separately, I want to say about this incredible person. Such a fantastic combination of hardness, pushing, following what was planned and at the same time supporting, caring, soft, sensitive, and subtle feeling! You will not leave, do not run away, do not get out, do not cheat if Marat leads you. He will guide you along YOUR path, will not allow you to surrender, roll up, chicken out, lose heart, cheat, but give support, help, care, and warmth! And you will find in yourself such a force that you are stunned! And then you will digest these discoveries for a week, and maybe months, and take, appropriate to you and transform them! Pressure and support at the same time! The perfect combination for a teacher, and in general for a man! Master and Professional! In this case, in combination with astonishing modesty))) Warm Modest Wizard! This is a name from me))) in the piggy bank to the "good cannibal", "shaman" and "spiritual obstetrician((("
Thank you, Marat, for these amazing two days, after which I will not be the same (at least I now have Penelope)!

I would say that it was the most powerful experience of initiation into the stage, through the disclosure of natural, improvised singing, which I saw with my own eyes.
"This weekend, in the glorious bunch of actors from Odesa playback theaters, we learned to sing. This was the seventh training module of the New York Playback Theater certification program in Ukraine.
Friends, I would say that it was the most powerful experience of initiation into the stage, through the disclosure of natural, improvised singing, which I saw with my own eyes.
Marat Mairovich, who gained fame and wonders, most gently involved us in the process of transforming a person into a singer. Each (!) Of the 32 participants sang "their" authentic song, accompanied by a physical choir and a magnificent arrangement of Marat, on the go, customized to the character and image of the participant. 32 concerts from rock to romance, from salsa to opera. It lasted for about 6 hours. One by one. Truly an incredible sight! It has become important to me:
* that ecstatic experience is valuable when primary security is formed. In the beginning, you need a period of formation of the group.
* that it is possible to lead people into the unknown while simultaneously supporting and crushing the notorious combination of support and frustration. Super craftsmanship. I take off my knight's hat, in front of you, good ogre Marat.
* that we are all human, and in general everything is personal. Finding this is the art of the Playback actors.
* support and faith. So many people believe in it and live by it, that with such a rear it's not scary to climb on any barricade and run into the attack.
* that we all learn and in spite of the distance traveled there is a feeling that we are at the beginning of a long journey. What a playback student can and should learn, especially when there are such coaches.
* that music bound us! "
